Compute
Run inference jobs for the mesh. Earnings scale with model size, throughput, and reliability score.
Storage
Host encrypted shards. Per-GB-month rate, with bonuses for uptime and useful-content multipliers.
Bandwidth
Serve public-vault downloads. Per-GB rate paid out per request.
How payouts work
- 1. Your DIO submits contribution receipts as you serve work.
- 2. At each RewardBlock, the protocol drains pending receipts, computes the manifest, and mints AUTOM to your wallet.
- 3. Funds appear in your DIO Wallet within minutes. Withdraw, hold, or spend.
Reliability earns more
Every node carries a reliability score. Honest answers, fast challenge responses, and high uptime move it up. Bad responses or dropped challenges move it down. Higher score = more work routed to you = more AUTOM.
Score is local to the protocol — no central reputation server, no rating board. Everything is measured by the network on observable behavior.
Storage Provider Mode
Run DIO in Storage Provider Mode (one toggle on the Contribute tab) to dedicate a folder to network blob storage. DIO handles the protocol: shard reception, integrity, Merkle-proof challenges, and payouts.
